We just finished our guest bathroom project! And despite the fact that working at construction sites are my jam, living in a construction site is just wrong.
But we are so super excited to be finished! Sure, we sacrificed sleep and our sanity to get ‘er done but it’s finally here: REVEAL time!
Feast yo eyes on all the pretty.
The goal of this space was simple: we needed to brighten this place up.
So, we made a few fun changes…We removed the tub and replaced it with a walk-in shower and glass enclosure. We added a window and replaced the flooring with a beautiful bright marble hexagon. For an added pop, we installed a darker, smaller marble hexagon in the shower. In the first reno of this restroom, we painted the walls and cabinets white and added the two shelves for extra storage. Check out the under construction post here.
I swiped an MLS pic of the bathroom as it looked when we first purchased this beauty for a neat before and after:
A few of our favorite things:
Bath caddy: We think this beautiful wooden basket is perfect for holding your natural soaps.
Bath brush: A handmade brush that will change your life.
Bath sheets: My favoritest-ever-ever fair trade bath towels.
Grey Bath Towels: Another super soft bath towel fave.
Vanity Canisters: Simple glass jars for holding your body sponges, qtips, and cotton balls.
Please do not forget to add live plants in your bathroom. Tillandsias and ferns do really well in this type of environment. And they’re so pretty! In full confession, I sometimes walk by this bathroom just to look upon all it’s beauty. I know that’s weird, so I’ll stop right here.
